In 2010, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said among more than 10 million people in the U.S. who practice yoga there were around 7,400 yoga-related injuries that year: that’s one for every 1,351 yoga practitioners. But, as with any physical activity, if not done properly, it can lead to accidents.
